Based on patented technology1, InSight X3 features a broad 680 nm to 1300 nm continuous, gap free tuning from a single source, nearly double the tuning range of legacy Ti:Sapphire ultrafast lasers. InSight X3 delivers high average and peak power levels across the tuning range, including critical near infrared wavelengths above 900 nm for deepest penetration in-vivo. With Spectra-Physics’ integrated patented DeepSee™, the industry standard dispersion pre-compensator, the short pulses are optimally delivered through a microscope to the sample for maximum fluorescence and penetration depth. The 7406e low profile PCI Express serial interface provides four RS-232 serial ports. For maximum compatibility with a wide range of peripherals, the board supports all standard RS-232 modem control signals. The serial ports utilize a 16C954 UART with 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs that enables data rates to 921.6K bps for reliable high-speed communications in data intensive applications. This high-performance UART includes 9-bit framing support and is fully software compatible with legacy 16550 applications. In addition, the board derives a 62.5 MHz clock from the PCI Express link. This ultra-high speed clock is divided by a flexible 8-bit clock prescalar with 1/8 steps to provide support for the widest range of standard and non-standard baud rates.

The TA-2000 test fixture is a combination panel that incorporates all the standard capabilities of the legacy CTS-11(ADI) and CTS-12(HSI) panels and much more. This panel is married to our model TA-1001 dual synchro transmitter/API panel thus allowing for local stimulus and alignment of the instruments synchros and resolvers. The panel provides for testing of both superflag(28v) and low level meters through a matrix of switching that will allow testing of all meters simultaneously or just individually. The low level meter drive circuit also incorporates an automatic mode that will continuously oscillate the L/R and Up/Dn pointers.
