OTP-Based Test System
Power electronics assemblies often cannot be tested using conventional technology for their electrical performance. Due to the adaptability of the instrumentation, the OTP concept offers an ideal platform even beyond the space requirements of several control cabinets. In order to achieve high test flexibility with different assemblies, the system was equipped with three-phase AC sources and AC loads as well as a precise three-phase power meter. DC sources and loads with different current and voltage ranges cover the test of frequent DUT operating parameters. Time-dependent voltage or current signals can be stimulated by an arbitrary generator with power amplifier. General measurements such as current, voltage, frequency, resistance can be carried out flexibly at various test points using the matrix concept. An oscilloscope with RF multiplexer is available for high-frequency measurements such as residual ripple, switching processes, etc.

PA2100
The PA2100 is a PC controlled bench top power analyzer, allowing several electrical power measurements to be taken simultaneously during testing - from just one set of input connections. The PA2100's power measurement ability is a must in research and development, manufacturing and required for certification and traceability of manufactured goods. In addition to power measurements, apparent power (VA), harmonics, voltage, current, power factor can all be viewed and stored with ease. The PA2100 wattmeter simply connects between the ac supply and the load, various current transformer options allow measurement with any size of current from 10mA to 10000A. Typical watt meter applications include appliance testing; microwave ovens, electric stoves, heating, air conditioning, TVs, monitors, computers, electronic lighting, fans and motor controllers. Powertek wattmeters are equipped with 4mm/banana safety terminals along with optional "breakout" boxes and clamp current probes for fast and safe measurement.

The KFM2150 system is a fuel cell impedance measurement system configured with an FC impedance meter KFM2150 and an electronic load PLZ-4W series. Combination of KFM2150 and PLZ-4WA series (0V input type) supports impedance measurement for single cell of fuel cell.In addition to impedance measurement with AC impedance method, KFM2150 system provides IR measurement with current interrupt method.Application software enables test for each characteristic of fuel cell such as I-V characteristics, Constant Current characteristics, Current Interrupt method and Cole-Cole plot by the AC impedance method. This special feature provides real world simulation capability and prevents overstressing thereby giving reliable and unbiased test results. The 63800's state of the art design uses DSP technology to simulate non-linear rectified loads with its unique RLC operation mode. This mode improves stability by detecting the impedance of the UUT and dynamically adjusting the load's control bandwidth to ensure system stability. Comprehensive measurements allow users to monitor the output performance of the UUT. Additionally, voltage & current signals can be routed to an oscilloscope through analog outputs. The instrument's GPIB/RS232 interface options provide remote control & monitor for system integration. Built-in digital outputs may also be used to control external relays for short circuit (crowbar) testing.
