PXI Single 32x8 Matrix, 2 Pole Switching
40-531-022
Model 40-531 very high density matrix modules are configured as a 32x8, while the 40-532 modules are configured as a Dual 16x8. Both modules are available in a choice of reed relay formats: 1-pole, 2-pole and 1-Pole screened. The screened version is suitable for switching coaxial signals up to 50MHz. Typical applications include signal routing in Functional ATE and data acquisition systems. These PXI matrix modules are constructed using high reliability Sputtered Ruthenium Reed Relays, offering 109 operations to give maximum switching confidence with long life and stable contact resistance. Larger matrices may be constructed by Daisy Chaining the common signals from multiple PXI modules. For example, seven PXI modules will form a 224x8 Matrix, a total of 1792 crosspoints in a 7-slot PXI Chassis.

Our LXI modular chassis are available in 7-slot or 18-slot and support over 1,000 of our PXI modules, additionally our 2-Slot USB/LXI Chassis allows most of our 1 or 2-slot PXI modules to be controlled via USB or Ethernet. These range from: PXI general purpose relays, matrices, multiplexers and RF switches to special PXI switching functions such as fault/signal insertion. Also supported are a selection of T&M modules such as programmable resistors, digital I/O, power supplies, battery simulators and attenuators.

2-Slot USB/LXI Modular Chassis

This 2-slot USB/LXI modular chassis offers a small lightweight form factor, making it ideal for portable, benchtop, and space restrictive applications. The chassis is designed for desk or rack mounting and features remote control via USB or LXI Ethernet. Remote control over a network enables the switching function of a test system to be located as close as possible to the target equipment. The 60-104 chassis supports one or two 3U PXI modules and accepts Pickering's PXI products, it is the perfect platform to construct small scale applications. PCI Fault Insertion Switch Cards for Differential Serial InterfacesThe new modules include the Differential PCI Fault Insertion Switch (model 50-200) which is designed for lower data rate serial interfaces such as CAN and FlexRay, and the High Bandwidth Differential PCI Fault Insertion Switch (model 50-201) which is designed for higher data rate serial interfaces such as AFDX and 1000BaseT Ethernet. Each module allows the introduction of fault connections that include data paths open, data paths shorted together, and data paths shorted to externally applied faults such as power supplies and ground. The software driver defaults to a protective mode where conflicting faults are prevented to avoid accidentally shorting unintended paths, such as power to ground. A separate mode allows complete freedom in setting fault patterns.

Ethernet To Parallel Digital Interface Boards
ICS's Ethernet Parallel Digital Interface boards provide the user with a wide range of IO signals that can be user configured to match virtually any application. These Ethernet boards are available with high power relay driver boards and with optional firmware designed to simplify switching applications. The 80x3 boards have high-power TTL signals that can sink 48 mA and source 24 mA. Pullup resistors make it easy to interface with CMOS logic and to sense contact closures. User configures data byte direction and polarity. The 80x3 boards are VXI-11 compliant for operation with NI or Agilent VISA, LabVIEW and VEE and support raw socket connections. The new 8113 board is a CMOS close of the 8013 board with user set 3.3 or 5 V logic levels. Pinouts and command set is the same as the 8013 board. The 8113 communicates with TCP/IP(Raw Socket) protocoland and also has a RS-232 Serrial Port. All boards are designed for mounting against the rear panel or inside a chassis and use our Ethernet Wiring Kit for easy connection to a Ethernet Connector on the rear panel.

This Data Communications Multiplexer is designed specifically for multiplexing or de-multiplexing up to 32 differential signal pairs having controlled 100 differential impedance. The multiplexer can be configured under software control to provide switching for 32 differential pairs, 16 dual differential pairs and 8 quad differential pairs. The dual and quad versions are particular well suited for providing switching of AFDX, BroadR-Reach and Ethernet signals. To support Ethernet applications, the design includes a switching network that simplifies the swapping of Tx and Rx pairs to simulate the effect of Ethernet crossover cables.
