The TWA standard series instruments are designed to measure the resistance of six coils and simultaneously analyze the three-phase tap changer on load of the primary and secondary transformer coils (provided by model TWA40). This is done in a single cable configuration, with test currents up to 40A. High Elongation Extensometers

The main body of this unique extensometer remains stationary during testing, held in position by the adjustable magnetic base included. Only the very light, small traveling heads move as the sample elongates during a test. These attach to the sample with small spring clips. Each head pulls a cord out from the extensometer as the head moves. These models use high precision, low friction potentiometers, and, as a result, have a wide range of factory selectable outputs. The extensometer is driven by an excitation voltage and has output proportional to the input. They can be provided with high level outputs (approximately 2-8 VDC) or ones that mimic strain gaged devices (2-4 mV/V). When set to mimic strain gaged extensometers, the Model 3800 can be used with virtually any signal conditioning electronics designed for strain gaged sensors. The potentiometers employ a hybrid wire wound around conductive plastic, which provides excellent long term stability. The output from the extensometer is readily interfaced with most existing test controllers, and may be directly input to data acquisition systems and chart recorders. Gas Filter Correlation Carbon Dioxide Analyzer
Model T360
The Model T360 CO2 analyzer measures Carbon Dioxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high-energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO2 filled chamber and a chamber with no CO2 present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 2.56 meters.The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample. This design produces excellent zero and span stability and high signal to noise ratio, allowing excellent performance over a wide concentration range.All T Series instruments offer an advanced color display, capacitive touch screen, intuitive user interface, flexible I/O, and built-in data acquisition capability. All instrument set up, control and access to stored data and diagnostic information is available through the front panel, or via RS232, Ethernet, or USB com ports, either locally or by remote connection.The Model T360 comes with NumaView™ Software.
