TTU-205 Series
The TTU-205 Series are rugged, self-contained flightline test systems which can be used to accurately simulate in flight pressure conditions. This is done by precisely controlling and measuring Altitude and Airspeed pressure to aircraft’s pitot static system. The TTU-205 can be used to test, certify, calibrate, and troubleshoot aircraft pitot-static systems or associated pneumatic flight control systems. The dual channel operation allows operators to perform dynamic, qualitative calibration and leak test for "on ground" simulation of altitude and airspeed pressures. The accuracy and operational capabilities meets or exceeds test requirements for military as well as commercial aircraft. The TTU-205/J model is an RVSM compliant test set.

Air Flow Meters
An Air Flow Meter measures air velocity as well as air pressure. Depending on the type of application, the Air Flow Meter is made as a hot-wire Air Flow Meter, a vane Air Flow Meter, a cup anemometer, a Pitot tube air flow meter or a pocket weather flow meter, all of which can measure air velocity as well as air pressure. Some can even detect the wind direction. The most common unit of measurement for air flow is m/s.Air Flow Meters are basically mass flow meters, as they determine the air velocity and air pressure by measuring the mass flow of a medium, which is air in this case.The results of measuring the air velocity can be stored in the Air Flow Meter's memory, depending on the model. There are a lot of Air Flow Meters available. These airspeed indicators have unrestrained movements.These instruments are actuated by ram air and ambient atmospheric pressure obtained from the aircraft pitot and static pressure systems. A moveable pointer and a fixed dial indicate airspeed with the zero index at the 12 o??lock position. Temperature compensation is internal and there is no external zero adjustment. Pointer damping is internally adjustable.

True Airspeeds
These true speed indicators are differential pressure indicators that measure the difference between static and total pressure produced by ram air from the pitot. The indicated airspeed can be corrected for changes in altitude by turning the knob to align the outside air temperature with the altitude. The moveable airspeed scale will then show the actual, or true, airspeed.
