Network Emulator and Protocol Tester
Maxwell Pro
The Maxwell Pro Network Emulator helps engineers learn how their products will perform in mobile, cloud, and WAN networks. By capturing and changing network flows, Maxwell Pro can induce the conditions that cause network congestion, slow links, time outs, Lossy networks (LLNs), and many other adverse network conditions. Engineers can then see the effects on the device or application to find and fix bugs, solve network problems, and learn the limits of device and application performance.

Analog or Digital Communications Switching Systems with D Type Connectors
RS Series
The RS Series computer controlled switching systems are designed to switch multi-wire groups of signal up to 25 wires. These systems are typically used for signals such as parallel TTL, RS232, RS422, WAN or modems, but can also be used for any group of analog or digital signals having a bandpass up to 30 MHz or a data rate up to 20 Mbps. A modular design concept is used that provides configuration flexibility by allowing display modules, different control modules and switch modules to be combined into a single chassis.LED displays and switch point status feedback are available on most systems. Computer control via IEEE488 (GPIB) and RS232 is standard, while TCP/IP Ethernet LAN, USB and manual controls are optionally available.

Virtual Access Router
Access router is a sort of shorthand term for an Internet access router or wide area network (WAN) access router. When deployed by an organization this network element is often called an enterprise router, and is traditionally implemented as a dedicated hardware appliance on the subscriber premise. However, the access router functionality may be virtualized. Virtualization means the software is separated or de-coupled, from the customer premise equipment (CPE) hardware. Such virtualization results in a virtualized network function (VNF), which may also be called a software access router or virtual access router.

Virtual SBC
What is a virtual session border controller or virtualized SBC? Traditionally, a session border controller (SBC) is a device positioned between carrier networks or between an enterprise LAN and a service-provider WAN. In the latter case, the border controller is called an enterprise session border controller or eSBC. Whether it is delivered as a dedicated hardware session border controller or a virtualized network function, (a.k.a. software SBC) the border controller manages call (session) setup and teardown. The SBC also provides network demarcation (demarc), or separation (border) between network domains, as well as other types of management (control) over the data streams that pass between networks. With the growing popularity of software defined networking (SDN) and the burgeoning market development and adoption of network function virtualization (NFV), eSBC functionality is more and more often de-coupled from a dedicated hardware device and delivered as a virtual instance running as a virtual machine (VM) on top of a hypervisor. It is generally not well understood in the market why an eSBC is such a critical network element for a secure and reliable SIP-based enterprise phone system. The following publication will help close that knowledge gap.

WiFiScope WS5: 200 MS/s 250MHz BW, 2 Channel, Digital Storage Oscilloscope, 20MHz AWG, Spectrum Analyzer, Voltmeter, Transient Recorder
WS5-220XM-W5
TiePie engineering has introduced the WiFiScope series oscilloscopes. The new range WiFi oscilloscopes can be used via an ethernet connection (LAN, WiFi or WAN) but also still with a USB 2.0 / 3.0 connection. The built-in battery gives the WiFiScope the possibility to perform fully wireless measurements. Measurements can then be performed completely galvanically isolated, and over long distances. This wireless PC-based data acquisition instrument offers the user more possibilities for measurement applications. With a WAN connection, worldwide measurements can be performed. Specific knowledge on networks is not required. The Multi Channel software gives an overview of the available USB instruments and network instruments. Simply tick the instrument and measuring can start. The WiFi oscilloscope has the following advantages: fully wireless measurements via WiFi are performed (galvanically isolated) because of the built-in battery mobile measurements are possible, e.g. on transport systems and moving installations LAN and WAN data acquisition is available for long distance measurements continuous realtime highspeed data acquisition over both WiFi and LAN/WAN are available USB measurements for stand-alone applications and highspeed data acquisition up to 200MSa/s.
